Lenny Kravitz Shares Airport Selfie with 'Legendary' Frankie Valli: 'Nothing but Respect for You Sir'

Oh, what a trip to the airport!

Lenny Kravitzposted to Instagramon Sept. 29 and shared a pair of selfies with the one and onlyFrankie Valliafter the two musicians recently ran into one another before or after hopping on a flight.

“Just ran into the legendary Frankie Valli at the airport. Nothing but respect for you sir,” wrote the Grammy-winning “Fly Away” singer-songwriter, 60. “Endless hits and still touring at 90 years young. Love !”

Kravitz sported a sweater, leather jacket and sunglasses in the photos, as he smiled and wrapped his arm around a grinning Valli, 90, who wore glasses and a jacket.

Valli spoke to PEOPLE around his 89th birthday in May 2023, explaining at the time that he felt “pretty good.”

“It’s just another year, the way I look at it. So far, knock on wood, my health has been good enough so that I can drive — I have all my marbles and I’m always interested in learning,” said the Four Seasons performer. “I like reading scripts and I always go over new music and listen to other people’s music for inspiration.”

The “Sherry” singer reflected on the thought of retiring and assured fans he plans to keep going for the foreseeable future. “I’ll probably tour until I can’t do it anymore, but even if it’s a limited amount of touring, it’s something I love and I love people. If it weren’t for people, I would not have had a career in the music business,” he said.

“It’s those guys that really went out and bought the product as you made it, loved you and came to see you. When you go to a different city and you work in a different venue, it’s like visiting friends. That’s the best way that I can put it,” said Valli, who has many North American tour dates scheduled through 2025.
