Keegan-Michael Key to Host NFL Honors Awards

The NFL Honors are just around the corner, and Emmy-winning actor,Keegan-Michael Key, will return as host of the awards show.

Key, 52, previously hosted the show in 2017 and 2021, and now he’s getting ready to celebrate the best and brightest of the NFL for a third time.

The NFL Honors first debuted in 2012, and previous hosts includeKelly Clarkson,Steve HarveyandAlec Baldwin.

The Walter Payton Man of the Year Award is given to an NFL player who shows “his excellence on and off the field,” according to the league.

During the 2022 NFL season, Dallas Cowboys quarterbackDak Prescottwas honored with the award for his charity foundation work centered on cancer research, which he started in honor of his mother, and suicide prevention, in his brother’s memory.

With Key returning to his role as host, he and the NFL enjoy a full circle moment this season, as he appeared in the league’s season kickoffpromo, “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up” in September.
