Margaret Qualley Talks 'Amazing' Wedding to Jack Antonoff and Life as Newlyweds in New Jersey

Margaret Qualleyis still on cloud nine after her wedding toJack Antonoff.

TheMaidactress, 29, who made an appearance on theThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonon Thursday, had nothing but good things to say when asked her about her August nuptials.

“You got married to our pal Jack Antonoff. Was it everything you dreamt of? Was it so fun?" Fallon asked her, to which she responded with a laugh, “Yes.”

“It was the best day of my life. It was amazing. It was so fun."

Fallon then asked about the bride and groom’s dancing skills at their reception and noted that Antonoff, 39, is “not really a dancer" while Qualley can break it down.

Qualley also opened up about newlywed life with Antonoff in New Jersey.

“I love it so much,” Qualley said of the Garden State. “I don’t understand what not to love. You’ve got the beach, you’ve got the farms, and you’re just so close to the city.”

Added Fallon: “I’m laughing in my head because you at one point told me, ‘Jimmy, you should move to our neighborhood in Brooklyn,’” he said. “And then now you moved out… I would have to come with you to New Jersey,” to which Qualley agreed.

Qualley and her music producer husband wed in a star-studded ceremony in New Jersey last year whereTaylor Swift,Channing Tatum,Zoë Kravitz,Cara DelevingneandLana Del Reyattended the nuptials.

The pair went public with their romance in early 2022, making their debut asa coupleat the AFI Awards Luncheon in March before attending the Critics' Choice Awards.

Qualley latershared a few photos from their eveningwith the simple caption, “Date night.” She also supported Antonoff at the 2022Grammys, where he was up for album of the year for his work onTaylor Swift’s Evermore.

The music producer previously opened up about what the couple’s wedding meant to him during an appearance onLate Night withSeth Meyersin December.

“Someone told me that when you die and when you get married is the only time everyone you love is in a room,” Antonoff said. “And I was like, ‘Oh that is just a thing someone says and I perform for a living so I don’t mind if the attention is on me.' And then as soon as it started, my whole body became wet."

He went on to add, “I’m looking for jokes, but it was just really beautiful.”
