The Queen of Christmas hasn’t defrosted quite yet.
In a silly video posted toMariah Carey’sInstagramon Wednesday, Oct, 1, the star let her fans know it’s too soon to lean in to Christmas.
In the video, Carey, 55, is cozied up in her private jet when the jingle for her hit song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” commenced and the pilot announced, “This is your captain speaking. Welcome aboard Mariah — we are headed to the North Pole.”
Then, the “Fantasy” singer yelled back, “Not yet, sorry.”
“They always rush me,” she added.
In last year’s video, the date and time changed from Oct. 31 11:59 to Nov. 1 12:00 as a vault door swang open to reveal Carey frozen in a block of ice wearing a Mrs. Claus-style jumpsuit.
Then, four people wearing Halloween costumes, including a pumpkin head and a mask from the movieScream, started melting the ice with hairdryers before Carey said “It’s time!” in a high-pitched voice.
