While chatting exclusively with PEOPLE ahead ofF45’sWahlberg Weeklast month, the actor opened up about hisfamily’s recent move to Nevada.
“Everybody’s adapted nicely. The kids are all out at school, and everybody’s happy,” Wahlberg said of his brood, which includes Durham and their four kids.
As for their plans for the upcoming holiday season, the actor said, “Well, I’m constantly busy and traveling, so I’m looking forward to getting home and spending some time with the family.”
In the spring, Wahlberg opened up about his decision to depart Los Angeles toput the children first, saying that the move was working well.
“They love Vegas,” Wahlberg toldE! News. “I spent lots of time in L.A. pursuing my interests and my career, and now it’s time for them to pursue theirs.”
He added: “Everybody is thriving there, it’s been great.”
Reiterating that the move was in an effort to “give my kids a better life and follow and pursue their dreams — whether it bemy daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, my younger son as a golfer,” Wahlberg toldThe Talk, “This made a lot more sense for us.”
