“Ari has jumped right into the big sister role so perfectly. She’s been very helpful and is so proud to be a big sister!” the couple shares. “Little Moorejust turned 6 months& he is already trying to pull up on things and walk in order to keep up with Ari.”

“Seeing them play and make each other smile makes our day. They’re both quite the little daredevils,” Moore laughs.

The family is looking forward to doing some traveling together between now and gearing up for next season.

“We’re going on two cruises and then going back to our home in North Carolina. We can’t wait to come back here [to Chicago] and spend the spring and summer here and do more than we got to last year,” Moore says.

While the family has more exploring to do, Chicago has already provided them with some adventures, as well as a warm welcome from fans.

“The fan base has been the highlight,” Moore says. “They’ve welcomed us with open arms and have been the best.”

The city has had so much to offer the couple and their two young kids, “from restaurants and shopping to visiting the zoo and children’s museums.”

“The Blackhawks are next on our list,” the couple shares, adding, “We can’t wait.”

In checking out all the city has to offer, they’re also getting to see their kids blossom in their own interests.

“Arielle loves to give back in our free time,” Moore shares. “She loves zip lining at Sky Zone and riding roller coasters at Disney, her favorite beingSlinky Dog Dash.”

Meanwhile “Lil DJ” as they’re calling their son has been starting to get on the move. “He loves pulling himself up, crawling, and keeping up with his big sister. At the rate he’s moving he’ll be walking before 1,” he laughs.

The family recently celebrated their little guys with a “halftime celebration” marking him turning 6 months old.

“We chose a halftime theme for his 6 months because he’s halfway to one year old already!” Battle shares.

This downtime will also give the couple a little time to think about their wedding after getting engaged last February.

“We haven’t done much planning yet. We’ve been enjoying our engagement and focusing on the season,” Battle explains.

Moore is moving through the offseason in a place of gratitude after a successful first year with the Bears.

“It feels good to actually perform the way that I have. It was more than I expected and to have a connection with the team so fast was great,” he shares. “Coming from the Panthers to Chicago, I didn’t have any outrageous expectations for myself, but to do what I did this year was just unbelievable, and I just thank God. I just want to build on that in the community and on the field.”
