Jon Lindstrom, who played Pryor’s onscreen son Kevin onPort Charles, shared a statement addressing Pryor’s death onInstagramon Tuesday, Oct. 8, where he spotlighted the late actor’s professional accomplishments over the years, including his appearances in the 1983 comedyRisky Business,the 1987 crime dramaLess Than Zeroand the 1978 horror sequelDamien: Omen II.

As talented and prolific as Pryor was as an artist, he was also “one of the best” friends Lindstrom ever had, the actor also explained.

“He was a mentor, a sounding board, a trusted confidant, and even a father-figure beyond, yes, playing my own father on #GH and #PortCharles," Lindstrom added. “And he was one of the funniest people could you cold hope to spend time with over a bottle of good wine and a great meal.”
