Nicola Peltz Beckham Jokes Brooklyn Beckham Is 'Really Upset' She Cut His Cameo from Her New Movie

Nicola Peltz Beckham’s husbandBrooklyn Beckhamfilmed a cameo for her new movie — but the moment did not make it to the film’s final cut.

As Nicola, 29, spoke withThe Hollywood Reporterrecently about making her directorial debut with the new filmLola, she joked that Brooklyn, 24, “is actually really upset that he did get cut from his one little cameo.”

“He had one line, ‘Hi,’ but he kept saying it in a British accent and he was staring directly into the camera,” she shared of Brooklyn’s would-be acting appearance. “I was like, ‘Oh God, we have to move on, good lord.’ "

“So, Brooklyn ended up on the chopping block,” she added.

However, Nicola also credits her husband for helping her make her directing dreams come true. “But I couldn’t have done any of this without him because he was such a massive support to me every day on set which I’m so appreciative of,” she continued.

Brooklyn was not Nicola’s only family member who worked on the film; her brotherWill Peltzhas a small role in the movie. Nicola even shared withTHRthat she couldn’t grant Will a larger part in its narrative since the siblings could not play romantic interests.

“I wanted my brother to have a much bigger part, but the thing is, to anyone who might not know he’s my brother they might be thinking to themselves, wait, why didn’t she end up with that guy?” she told the outlet. “That guy seems great and he’s so handsome. But, like, okay, that would not work out.”

Nicola’s mother-in-law Victoria, 49, and brother-in-lawCruz Beckham, 18, joined her and Brooklyn atLola’s recent premiere, which Nicola toldTHR"meant the absolute world” to her.

“For Victoria to fly out and for Cruz to be there and support me, it means so much to me. I was talking to everyone all night and I didn’t even sit down once,” she told the outlet.
