Noah Cyrus Likes a Selfie of Sister Miley's Ex-Husband Liam Hemsworth amid Family Drama

Noah CyruslikedLiam Hemsworth’s latest selfie amid the Cyrus family’s drama.

On April 5, Hemsworth, 34 — who was married to Noah’s older sisterMiley Cyrusfrom 2018 to 2020 —showed off his muscular arms in a gym selfieon Instagram, and Noah, 24, liked the post.

The gesture comes amid drama in the Cyrus family that escalated following the2022 splitof Miley, 31, and Noah’s parents,Billy Ray CyrusandTish Cyrus.

Rumors of drama between members of the Cyrus family — which also includes the sisters’siblingsBrandi, Trace, Christopher and Braison — ramped up afterTish’s wedding to Dominic Purcellin August 2023.

In an intimate ceremony at Miley’s Malibu home, Tish, 56, married thePrison Breakstar, and only some of her kids were present for the nuptials. Trace, 35, attended, while Brandi, 36, and Miley served as bridesmaids.

Noah and Braison, both of whom Tish shares with Billy Ray, were not present at the ceremony. And, on the day of the wedding, Noah shared a photo to her Instagram Stories of her wearing a Billy Ray T-shirt with brother Braison, 29.

The apparent feud within the Cyrus family escalated further when Mileyexcluded her dad while shouting out her family in her Grammys acceptance speechin February 2023.

After thanking her mom, sister and “love” in her speech, the singer said, “I don’t think I forgot anyone. But I might have forgotten underwear. Bye!”

Also in February, a source told PEOPLE thatNoah has been “very loyal” to her dadsince his divorce from Tish, and noted that the father-daughter duo has “always had a really close relationship.”

“It hasn’t been easy for any of the kids,” the insider added of the split. “Their parents’ separation was really hard, but it was also long overdue.”

The following month, the alleged rift in the Cyrus family made headlines again after more information about the family’s drama came out:Noah had been casually seeing mom Tish’s now-husband Purcellprior to their relationship, PEOPLE learned.

“Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends with benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up,” the insider shared, noting that “Tish knew he had been seeing Noah.”

And, though Noah and Purcell had stopped seeing each other before his relationship with Tish began, the insider claimed that “Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married.”

As for Miley, the singerwas unaware of this drama between Noah and Tish, a source told PEOPLE days later.

“Miley had no idea about the drama with Dominic. No idea at all," an insider said. “She confronted her mom about it. She thinks it’s a strange situation, but she loves her mom and wants her to be happy.”
