During Sunday night’sDick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrestspecial to ring in 2024, thecountrymusic star, 39, inadvertently created an adorable, viral moment when he was so thrilled after his performance that he hugged and picked up Seacrest, 49.
“I need someone to make this a GIF immediately,” the fan wrote. “No greater joy than Jelly Roll meeting Ryan Seacrest on NYE. The kick! I can’t stop watching it.”
On the next slide of hisStory, Seacrest pulled through with a GIF of the memorable moment, writing, “Done ✅,” alongside it.

During the show, the CMA award winner took the stage to perform amedleyof three songs: his latest single “Halfway to Hell,” the 2023 hit “Wild Ones” and “Need a Favor” off 2022’sWhitsitt Chapel.
The “Son of a Sinner” artist’s live performance on the program capped off a major year which saw him earn his first-everGrammy nominations. The musician is up for the coveted best new artist award at the 2024Grammys, as well as best country duo/group performance for his collaboration withLainey Wilson, “Save Me.”
In December, the country starreflected on his whirlwind yearin an interview with PEOPLE and opened up about the progress he’s made after struggling with addiction.
“I always said that if I ever got in this situation, I would do everything I could to give back," he said. “The fact that just me showing up places can make people happy is such a gift, and I feel like if God gave me that gift, I should show up.”
