Scarlett Johanssonis reportedly gearing up for a dinosaur adventure.
TheAvengersactress, 39, is in talks to be the starof the nextJurassic Worldmovie, according to reports fromDeadlineandThe Hollywood Reporter.
A spokesperson for Universal Pictures declined to comment. A rep for Johansson did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Gareth Edwards is directing the movie, which is slated for a July 2, 2025, release date. He previously made 2014’sGodzilla, 2016’sRogue One: A Star Wars Storyand, most recently, last year’sThe Creator.
