The 19-year-old daughter ofKansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Huntis starting her freshman year at Southern Methodist University with a dorm room full of pink and a sendoff from her mom,Tavia Hunt.

On Friday, Aug. 23, Tavia, who has been married to Clark since 1993, wrote a sweetInstagramtribute to her daughter, including photos of her experience dropping Ava off at her new home.

“Today, I left a piece of my heart at SMU. Ava Hunt, you’ve always been a mix of sunshine and hurricane - fierce, fearless, and capable of incredible things,” the caption read.

The post began with a photo of the mother-daughter duo standing in front of Ava’s side of the room, which includes a bed decorated with pink floral sheets, a monogrammed pillow, a matching bedside ottoman, and a neon sign with her name.

The college student, wearing black athleisure, proudly posed in front of the area for a solo shot that showed her vanity desk, equipped with a pink rolling chair and lighted mirror, next to a white cabinet holding a pink coffee maker.
