The Golden Bachelor's Theresa Made Time on Her Wedding Day to Honor Daughter's Birthday — See the Sweet Tribute

WhileBachelorNation watched herwalk down the aisle,Theresa Nistmade sure to celebrate her daughter Jen Woolston’s birthday on her special day.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful, strong, kind, supportive, loving, super smart, and overall wonderful and amazing daughter, and my best friend, Jennifer Ann!!“TheGolden Bachelorfavorite wrote Thursday onInstagram.

The tribute included photos of the mother-daughter duo posing as crew set up forThe Golden Weddingspecial, as well as photos of them dancing at herrehearsal dinnerand sharing a hug onThe Golden Bachelor.

Nist praised, “I could not dream of a better daughter. I love you with all my heart!!! I hope you have the best birthday ever!!!!”

Nist and her now-husbandGerry Turnersaid “I do” inPalm Springsduring a tear-and love-filled wedding ceremony broadcast live on ABC.

Before Nist and Turner exchanged vows, Woolston said a few words to wish them well in their marriage.

“We’re beyond thrilled that you’ve brought us together as a family,” she said, growing emotional.

“OK, take good care of my best friend since birth,” she told her new stepfather, “and, mom, put him first.”

She concluded, “Mama and Gerry, I know you’re gonna have the most incredible life together. I truly truly truly cannot be happier for you guys. I can’t even wait to see what the future holds. I love you both so much.”

Last month ahead of her big day, Nist told PEOPLE last year that herdaughter had been a “lifesaver"when it came to wedding planning.

“There’s so many decisions that had to be made, and in some instances, she would get the vision board together for me or she would get ideas of dresses and veils and rings,” she explained.

“She just keeps feeding me great things and I’m saying, ‘Yeah, that, that, that,’” Nist said. “Seriously — I don’t know if there would be a wedding if she wasn’t involved.”
