Tiffany Haddish Wishes Herself Happy Birthday Following DUI Arrest: ‘Ready for My Next Chapter’

“I have more music and Another Book coming and I can’t wait to share with the world all of the work I have been doing for My Family and All my Real Unicorns," she added. “I also want to say Thank you to the band that helped me put that show together especially @diimondsareforever my musical director and @andydrachman for filming it and making it look beautiful.”
Haddish also thanked “the beautiful woman in Eritrea 🇪🇷 " who “made my dress” in the clip shown. “I told you I would wear it and the world would see. I keep my promises anyone that knows me knows that. It might take some time but I always keep my promise. Just ask God,” she concluded.

Haddish’s birthday post comes before she isreportedlydue in court in connection to her arrest for allegedly falling asleep behind the wheel of a car on Nov. 24.

“I had prayed to God to send me a man with a job, career, preferably in a uniform, and I answered my prayers,” she added, per the recording.
A representative for Haddish didn’t respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment at the time.
Haddish was previously arrested for another DUI offense in Georgia in January 2022. She was alleged in a call to authorities to have fallen asleep behind the wheel again on Highway 74.
“Subsequent investigation led to Ms. Tiffany Haddish being arrested for Driving Under the Influence,” police told PEOPLE at the time. “She was transported to the Fayette County Jail without incident.”
