Taxifans have a bit of nostalgia coming their way.

“Well, we’ve been getting together on a Zoom every month for three, four years now and we see each other a lot,” he said at Thursday’sPower Book III: Raising Kananpremiere. “Danny [DeVito]andMarilu [Henner]were here doing a play in New York. Chris was in town.Carol [Kane]lives here so I see her a lot.Judd [Hirsch], is the most energetic … I don’t know how old he is. He’s incredible. In fact, he put together the get together onThe View.”

The Viewco-hostWhoopi Goldbergpreviously teased the news, too, revealing that Hirsch called her to inquire about a slot on the daytime talk show. “He called, he said listen, we are all gonna be in town. It’s the 45th anniversary, and we’re all in town because we’re seeing Danny’s show on Broadway. Could you get us onThe View? We should get onThe View,” Goldberg said on an episode ofThe View: Behind the Tablepodcast.

According to Goldberg, the reunion segment has already been filmed on aTaxi-themed set and features Hirsch, Danza, Henner, DeVito, Kane andChristopher Lloyd.

“We do really fun stuff on this show. It seems sometimes, I think to us, because we talk about a lot of things going on in the world,” Goldberg added. “But every so often we do something fabulous and out there. And this was fabulous and out there.”

It won’t be the first time fans get a glimpse into the cast’s ongoing friendship. Danza shared a peek into the off-ZoomTaxireunions past in May when he grabbed lunch in New York City with Kane, Hirsch and Lloyd.

“Love these people so much!#oldfriends #taxi,” Danza posted on social media. “Another great shot from a great hang!”
