Tony Romo Corrects Himself After Accidentally Calling Taylor Swift Travis Kelce's Wife: 'I'm Sorry'

Tony Romoapparently sees marriage inTaylor SwiftandTravis Kelce’s future.

During the Kansas City Chiefs' game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night, Romo, 43 — who now serves as an NFL commentator after playing 14 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys — accidentally referred to Swift, 33, as Kelce’s “wife.”

As the camera focused on Kelce, 34, during the game, it then transitioned to show Swift smiling and sitting in the stands.

“As you see, Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, in the audience,” Romo said, before quicklycatching his mistake and correcting himself, adding, “Er, I’m sorry. Girlfriend!”

“Not yet,” another commentator then replied while laughing at Romo’s blunder.

Swift was once again at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, tosupport her boyfriendas he took the field on Sunday.

She was photographed cheering excitedly for Kelce, whom she began dating earlier this year, in a suite, where shesat with his mom,Donna Kelce.

She teamed the retro $250 style, which is no longer available on the store’s website, with her signature red lip.

Swift’s latest game day appearance follows herTime2023 Person of the Yearinterview, where she broke her silence about her relationship with Kelce for the first time.

In the piece, theMidnightssinger gave abreakdown of their dating timeline, confirming that her relationship with the NFL star “all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell."“We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” Swift continued.She then confirmed that the first time she supported Kelce at a Chiefs game in September, they “were a couple,” adding, “I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

Swift also spoke about her new love of Kelce’s sport, tellingTime, “Football is awesome, it turns out.I’ve been missing out my whole life.”
