Twilight's Elizabeth Reaser Shares Details About Secret, Star-Studded Wedding to Composer Bruce Gilbert

Twilightstar Elizabeth Reaser has revealed that she secretly got married.

The actress, 48, opened up toVogueabout tying the knot with composer Bruce Gilbert in Italy in August 2023.

“Originally, we were making these huge lists of people to invite but we realized pretty quickly it didn’t feel right for us," Reaser said in the article published Thursday, April 4. “We decided to elope instead, with a couple of friends as witnesses.”

Reaser had three guests at her ceremony:Gossip Girlactress Megan Ferguson, 41, her husband,The Magiciansactor Nico Evers-Swindell, 45, andSarah Paulson, 49. Paulson’s partner, Holland Taylor, 81, officiated the wedding.

The intimate ceremony took place at Hotel Caruso’s Wagner Garden, overlooking the Amalfi Coast.

TheDark Harveststar added, “It was so beautiful that we stopped at the end of the aisle and had an impromptu first dance. I think it may have been the purest moment of happiness in my life.”

Reaser also toldVoguethat her guests enjoyed champagne and dinner under olive trees. Toasts were given as the bride and groom had their first dance “to an arrangement of Caetano Veloso’s ‘Cucurrucucu Paloma’ that Bruce had the musicians prepare.”

“I want to do it all over again!” Reaser gushed to the magazine. “Truly. I feel so lucky.”

“We owe our dogs everything! And our pal, who called him over,” Reaser said.

The pair then got engaged at Hotel Il San Pietro di Positano, which is located along the Amalfi coast, during the summer of 2022.
