Welcome to Plathville: Olivia Says Ethan Still Texts Her 'I Miss You' amid Split: 'Part of Me Feels So Frustrated'

Olivia Plathwants to leave her past behind.During the Aug. 6 episode ofWelcome to Plathville,Olivia made her way through the midwest to move the rest of her things out of her shared apartment with ex-husbandEthan Plath. She also broughtdivorcepaperwork with her, but revealed Ethan has continued to try to reconcile themarriage.“Last time I was in Minnesota, I really wanted to get paperwork signed and filed, and Ethan was not on the same page,” she told cameras. “And now that we’re going on nine months separated, I would really like to get this all wrapped up.”“Ethan still sends me texts every few weeks saying, ‘I miss you,’ and I never know what to say,” she added.Olivia Plath.TLCWhen she told him she would be returning for the last time, Ethan’s only response was a short, “okay,” which she said made her worry that he would continue to prolong the divorce.“Part of me feels so frustrated for how this process is playing out,” Olivia explained. “And then I see Ethan, I see how sad he is, and it’s hard to feel so frustrated. I don’t even know. I say that, but then if he doesn’t sign, I’m going to be so pissed. So then I don’t even know what I’m doing. I’m trying not to think about it.”Olivia said that she planned to not go in with a plan because things “always change” when it comes to the Plath family.Later in the episode, Ethan went out to a bar with sisterMoriah Plath, who decided to visit him for support while Olivia was there. The two got to talking about their future relationships, and Ethan admitted he finds it “overwhelming” to consider marrying and starting a family with another woman.“I don’t know what the answer to finding the right person is,” he told Moriah, who simply said, “When you know, you know.”“I mean, I knew with Olivia, if I were to meet anybody, anybody I can think of, throw in the mix with when I met Olivia, I would have still picked Olivia,” he replied. “But look where we are today.”Ethan Plath.TLCStill, contrary to Olivia’s fears, Ethan said he was “as ready as I’ll ever be to sign the divorce papers,” and shared that he was going to get it done while Olivia was cleaning out the apartment.“I almost wished I would have just done it last time she was here because, you know, rip the Band-Aid off type thing,” he confessed. “But I just couldn’t — I physically felt like I couldn’t.”He went on to note that he felt both he and Olivia were equally at fault for their marriage coming to an end, and he finally accepted they wouldn’t be getting back together.“We changed, she changed, we grew apart.
