Austin Reaves and Jenna Barber’s love story started from a young age.

TheLos Angeles Lakersshooting guard and Barber grew up in Newark, Arkansas, and attended Cedar Ridge High School. TheNew York Postreported that the couple have been together since 2014.

Reaves has never publicly confirmed their relationship, however, Barber has documented their love on Facebook. “My favorite person. I couldn’t love you more,” she wrote in a sweet post on Reaves' birthday in May 2024.

She’s from Arkansas

Barber is originally from Newark, Arkansas, where she also still lives, according to her Facebook.

She also stayed in her home state for her education, attending the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. Barberearned an associate’s degree in scienceand graduated magna cum laude in May 2020. She later attended the University of Arkansas andgraduated in December 2022. She’s currently enrolled in Logan College of Chiropractic.

She has two sisters

Barber hasa twin sister, Jordan Barber Wheeler, who was born on Dec. 20, 2000.

Jordan studied communication sciences and disorders at Arkansas State University and now works as a speech-language pathologist assistant. Like her sister, Jordan also lives in Arkansas with her husband, Keaton Wheeler. Back in April 2023, Jordan and Keatonattended a Lakers playoff basketball gamein Memphis, Tennessee, where they cheered on Reaves.

Barber also has a younger sister, Jaden Barber.

She loves to be active

Barber enjoys spending time outdoors and being active. She has shared photos of herself on social mediahiking,riding bikes,riding horsesandspending time at the beach.

She and Reaves love golf

Basketball isn’t the only sport Reaves and Barber love. The couple are also major golf fans. They attended the U.S. Open together in June 2023. Barber shared photos from their tripon Facebook, writing, “u can always catch us on a golf course.”

Barber also posted a picture ofReaves playing a round, captioning the photo, “always gotta find the golf courses." So, it was no surprise that for Reaves’ birthday in May 2023, she celebrated him — and his love of golf.

“happy birthday to my person!!! i hope your day was full of golf love you so much!” she wrote alongside asnap of the two on a course.

She previously worked at a pharmacy

Before heading to the University of Arkansas, Barber worked at Newark Pharmacy, per her Facebook. Sheshared a postthanking her co-workers for a thoughtful gift basket they gave her on her last day of work in August 2020.

“i have the sweetest work family!! they make work life so fun and easygoing, and i can’t thank them enough for all their love and support. i will miss you all & see you soon!!!!” she captioned the post.

She was in a sorority

Barber was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority while at the University of Arkansas. She shared multipleposts on Facebookabout her love for her sorority.

“the friendships college life gives you is indescribable. my heart is so happy #1897,” she captioned one. In another, she shared photos from theinitiation ceremony.

She’s a VSCO girl

While Barber is active on Facebook, she also has aVSCO accountwhere she posts edited, curated photos of her life. On her page, Barber has shared photoswith Reaves,nail art, herinterior design tasteand herlove of sweets.

She supports his basketball career

Barber is Reaves’ No. 1 fan. In the summer of 2023, the couple traveled to theFIBA Basketball World Cuptogether. Barber uploaded photos and videos to herFacebookof Reaves playing in various games. She also documented their time off the court, where they played golf and relaxed on the beach.

The Arkansas native was very supportive of Reaves throughout the 2022-2023 season. In January, she gushed about himon Facebookafter a Lakers game in Los Angeles. She wrote, “some of my favorite things: lakers basketball, traveling, good company, & #15."
