Chanen was born on March 14, 1996, in Pomona, California, to Joe and Sheryl Raygoza. She moved across the country to attend Penn State University in Pennsylvania.

Chanenmet Juwanwhile they were both students at Penn State — he played football at the university for three years before transferring to the University of Oregon for his senior year.

She used to be a gymnast

Chanen was a gymnast when she was younger. According to thePenn State Athletics website, she began gymnastics in middle school and was a Junior Olympic National Team member, a VISA U.S. National qualifier and a Junior International Elite gymnast.

Chanen continued gymnastics through her time at Penn State and appeared onthe athletic team’s YouTube channelin a 2014 video, around the time she first met Juwan.

She married Juwan in February 2020

Juwan and Chanen married on Feb. 15, 2020, after almost three years of dating. The newlyweds celebrated their nupitals on Instagram, with the bride posting anInstagram pictureof them. “Officially the happiest girl in the world!! So lucky to call you my husband,” she captioned it.

Meanwhile, Juwan shared a video montage of them picking up their marriage license and kicking off the process of the wedding ceremony.

“I want to take every bump, every challenge and every milestone with you. Thank you God that I can call you Mrs. Johnson,” he wrote, in part.

She and Juwan share one child and are expecting a second

Aftertwo miscarriages, Chanen and Juwan welcomed their first child, daughter J’adore Blessing Johnson, on July 8, 2023. The NFL player announced her birth on Instagram, writing, “Welcome to this world princess!Daddy will alwayssss be there for you and Mommy."

“A miracle,” Chanen and Juwan captioned a joint Instagram post in March 2024, featuring a video of J’adore Blessing in a “big sister” sweater.
