Nicholas Chavezand his girlfriend, Victoria Abbott, might play gruesome roles inGrotesquerie,but their off-screen romance is more wholesome.

Although Chavez broke into the industry withGeneral Hospital, his fame skyrocketed in September 2024 with two leading roles in Ryan Murphy’s series: Lyle Menendez inMonsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Storyand Father Charlie Mayhew, the “hot priest,” inGrotesquerie, which Abbott also had a role in.

His stardom has reached beyond the screen and landed him all over TikTok through fan-made “thirst trap” videos. One clip, known as the “theNicholas Chavez edit,” has boasted over 56 million views and thousands of shares, including Victoria.

So who is Nicholas Chavez’s girlfriend? Here’s everything to know about Victoria Abbott and her relationship with the fellow actor.

She was born in Nebraska

Abbott was born in Bellevue, Neb., but moved to California with her sister around the time she entered eighth grade.

In July 2020, she toldVoyageLAmagazinethat her favorite childhood memory was the first concert she went to soon after relocating.

“It was a Crown the Empire show at the Wiltern in Hollywood, and they were my absolute favorite band at the time and hold a special place in my heart today,” she said.

According toher LinkedIn profile, she attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and studied political science and government.

She is an actress

When Abbott moved to California, she began acting and “fell absolutely head over heels in love with it,” she toldVoyageLAin July 2020.

The first job she booked was a Disney infinity commercial when she was 13, leading to her breakout role as Gina in Netflix’sEchoes.

“It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road working in this industry," she explained. “You hear no a lot more than you hear yes in this world, and it used to take its toll on me reasonably hard.”

Abbott added, “Rejection never feels good, but its something I’ve gotten comfortable with. I’m not always what a casting director is looking for, and that’s okay. It makes hearing a yes all the better.”

When she’s not on a set, the up-and-coming actress is using her creative talents to be a part-time assistant ather parents' photography company, per her LinkedIn.

Although it’s unclear how they met or when they got together officially, Abbott first posted him on her social media via Instagram Stories in September 2023. She drew yellow hearts on a video of them watching the sunset at the beach.

However, they were photographed together at a friend’s birthday party in January 2023, which she reposted.

Abbott created anInstagram Stories highlighttitled “Lover,” which has included footage of them over the years, including sharing milkshakes, flying in helicopters and skiing.

Chavez has also posted glimpses of their relationship, includinga photo of himaffectionately kissing his girlfriend on the cheek in July 2024. “Midwest princess,” he captioned it.

They are co-workers

Abbott is part of Chavez’s personal life and work, given that they were both cast inGrotesquerie. Chavez plays Father Charlie Mayhew, while Abbott portrays Andrea Salana.

She was the first call he made when he got cast inMonsters

In a September 2024 conversation withInterviewmagazine, Chavez reflected on the nerve-racking casting process forMonstersand the excitement he felt after his final callback.

“I wanted this job so bad. I wanted so badly to work on an esteemed project, the kind of project that Ryan Murphy creates,” he told the outlet. “And these were such compelling characters, and I knew that it would give me a chance to bring all of who I am as an actor.”

To ease his anxiety, Chavez took a trip to Santa Barbara with his girlfriend right after the callback, but as soon as he returned to L.A., he received the important news. Already with his dad, brother and cousin, he had a special call to make to Abbott.

“I gave my family a huge hug. I ran out into the parking lot," he said. “I called my girlfriend. I called all the people I love and shared the good news.”

She has an identical twin

Abbott has an identical twin sister, Madison Abbott. According toMadison’s Instagram, the two share a special connection, even jesting they can “reach each other’s minds.”

Both sisters are actresses, and their twin bond has proven helpful in several roles. They appeared together inEchoes, portraying the younger versions of twins Gina and Leni McCleary, and both had roles inGrotesquerie.

In October 2024, Madison posted behind-the-scenes pictures from filmingGrotesquerieon Instagramwith the caption, “Also because apparently people can’t tell I am in the dress Victoria is the bloody twin 😭😭.”

They traveled internationally together

In addition to film sets, Chavez and Abbott have traveled to many international locations together.

In August 2024, she shared a series of photoson Instagramof their trip to Italy. “Two lovers in Italy,” she captioned it.

That same week, sheuploaded several snapsfrom their trip to Monaco. Chavez commented, “Call (me).”
